The aim of this pan-European survey is to link alcohol intake to experiences regarding the current SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. With the outbreak of SARS-CoV-2 in Europe, political actions by national governments led to changes in daily and public life in many places, including possible changes in alcohol consumption. Since the current pandemic is an unprecedented situation with hitherto unknown consequences for everyday life, a questionnaire was developed to investigate its implications, particularly with regard to drinking. The survey resulted from a collaboration of scientists from multiple research institutes in Europe, including the Technische Universität Dresden (Germany) and the Hospital Clíníc de Barcelona (Spain). The survey is available in 20+ languages. Click here for further information.
